Itinerary
Experience one of Peru’s greatest desert mysteries on a 2-day trip to Nazca, traveling comfortably and safely by Cruz del Sur overnight bus. The itinerary is designed so you can rest during the night ride and arrive early for the highlight: a Nazca Lines scenic flight, offering the best way to appreciate these massive geoglyphs. From the air, you’ll spot iconic figures such as the Hummingbird, Spider, Condor, Monkey, and Whale, while learning about their history, theories, and cultural significance—often linked to the work of researcher María Reiche. A perfect short escape from Lima combining desert landscapes, mystery, and unforgettable adventure.
We begin with hotel pick-up at 21:15 p. m. and transfer to the terminal to board the Cruz del Sur bus at 22:15 p. m. bound for Nazca. The journey takes about 7 hours, giving you time to rest comfortably during the overnight ride and arrive ready for the flight the next day.
At 5:30 a. m. we arrive in Nazca and transfer to the airfield, where you’ll have time for breakfast (at your own expense) and a short pre-flight briefing. Then you’ll begin the Nazca Lines scenic flight, viewing the incredible desert geoglyphs from above—figures like the Hummingbird, Spider, Condor, Monkey, and Whale, along with many others that can only be fully appreciated from the air. During the flight you’ll learn about their history, interpretations, and cultural value, highlighting the studies of researcher María Reiche. After the flight, you return to town with free time for lunch (at your own expense). At 2:00 p. m. we transfer to the terminal to board the Cruz del Sur bus back to Lima, ending the service with the listed transfer toward Miraflores.
