Itinerary
Enjoy an unforgettable getaway with the Colca Canyon 2D/1N Tour from Arequipa, a scenic adventure that blends high-Andean nature, living culture, and one of the world’s most impressive canyons. Along the way, you’ll cross the Pampa Cañahuas to spot vicuñas in their natural habitat and stop at the Volcano Viewpoint for spectacular Andean panoramas. In Chivay, you’ll rest and relax at the La Calera hot springs. On day two, the highlight is the Condor’s Cross Viewpoint, where you can witness the majestic flight of condors over the deep canyon, before visiting traditional villages such as Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque on the way back to Arequipa.
We start with pick-up from hotels in Arequipa at 07:30 a. m. and depart toward the Colca Valley. During the drive, we stop at the Pampa Cañahuas, where we can observe vicuñas in their natural habitat, and at the Volcano Viewpoint, enjoying impressive Andean landscapes. We arrive in Chivay at around 1:30 p. m., check in at the lodging, and have free time for lunch. In the afternoon we visit the La Calera hot springs to relax. After a typical dinner, you will have free time and overnight in Chivay.
After breakfast, we head to the Condor’s Cross Viewpoint to admire the majestic flight of condors and the canyon’s depth. On the way back, we visit the villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque. After lunch in Chivay, we return to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 6:30 p. m..
