Itinerary
Experience Peru in a complete, fast-paced, and unforgettable journey that blends iconic sights with real adventure: historic and modern Lima, the coastal wildlife of Paracas and the Ballestas Islands, the Andean heartland in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, the once-in-a-lifetime visit to Machu Picchu, and bucket-list day trips such as Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), Humantay Lake, plus ATVs to Maras & Moray. Ideal for travelers who want Peru’s top highlights with organized logistics and bilingual guiding.
Upon arrival in Lima, our team meets you at the airport and provides a comfortable transfer to your hotel. This first day is designed for resting after travel and easing into the capital’s rhythm; you can stroll around Miraflores or Barranco, enjoy Pacific Ocean views, or simply recharge. Lima is at sea level, so it’s a gentle start before heading into the Andes—perfect for beginning the trip calmly and feeling the city vibe.
Between 09:15 and 09:30 a.m. hotel pick-ups begin for a city tour that blends modern Lima with colonial heritage: visit Love Park (Parque del Amor) in Miraflores (Malecón Cisneros near Villena Bridge), featuring “El Beso” by Víctor Delfín and colorful mosaics; continue with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a major pre-Inca ceremonial site. At 10:00 a.m. you’ll see San Martín Square (panoramic) and its historic surroundings; then at 11:00 a.m. enter San Francisco Convent & Catacombs to explore the choir area, library, sacristy, and crypts. Return to Miraflores at approximately 14:00 (2:00 p.m.) with a complete look at traditional Lima.
Depart Lima at 04:40 a.m. along the Pan-American Highway South; during the ride the guide shares information, and around 06:00 a.m. there’s a short breakfast stop (at your own expense; a box breakfast is often provided or you can buy snacks). In Paracas, at 09:30 a.m. begin the boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, first viewing the Candelabra geoglyph and then spotting wildlife such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds. Back in Paracas, at 10:00 a.m. enjoy a tasting of traditional sweets; then have free time for lunch around 13:00 (1:00 p.m.). At 14:00 (2:00 p.m.) visit an artisan winery for an explanation and tasting of wine and pisco, and at 15:00 (3:00 p.m.) head to the Huacachina Oasis; from 15:30 (3:30 p.m.) you may join optional dune buggies and sandboarding. Return to Lima at 17:30 (5:30 p.m.), ending a day of coast, desert, and adventure.
In the morning, transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Cusco (located at 3,399 m / 11,152 ft). Upon arrival, our team welcomes you and assists you to the hotel for initial acclimatization. In the afternoon, enjoy a roughly 4-hour city tour featuring Qoricancha and key Inca sites including Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay, with panoramic views and cultural context from Inca and colonial times. Return to the hotel to rest, hydrate, and get ready for the higher-altitude days ahead.
Pick-up is at 07:30 a.m. to begin the scenic Sacred Valley route, starting at Taray Viewpoint for sweeping views of the valley and its agricultural fields. Continue to Pisac to visit the traditional market and the archaeological site with guided explanations of its engineering and ceremonial value; at midday enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, explore the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, then head to the station to board the train to Aguas Calientes (2,040 m / 6,693 ft). Upon arrival, our staff assists with the hotel transfer and key tips for entering Machu Picchu the next day.
After breakfast, according to your entrance time, transfer to the station to board the bus that climbs in about 25 minutes to Machu Picchu (2,430 m / 7,972 ft). At the entrance control, you must bring your original passport and printed ticket, then begin a guided visit of around 2 hours on the assigned circuit, learning about the sanctuary’s history, architecture, and significance. After the tour, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes (25 minutes) and enjoy free time for lunch on your own; later take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our team will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco—closing a truly unforgettable day.
Early pick-up at 04:30 a.m. for a scenic drive of about three hours south through Andean communities such as Oropesa and Andahuaylillas, reaching Cusipata for an energizing breakfast. Continue to Phulawasipata (4,600 m / 15,092 ft) to start an approximately 1.5-hour hike through highland landscapes with alpacas and views of the Ausangate range, reaching the viewpoint of Vinicunca (5,300 m / 17,388 ft) for photos and time to enjoy the multicolored scenery (weather can change quickly with wind and cold). Return the same way, enjoy an Andean buffet lunch, and arrive back in Cusco around 5:00 p.m..
Pick-up is at 06:40 a.m. and you’ll drive about 50 minutes to Cruz Pata, where you’ll have a safety briefing and practice on ATVs (15–20 minutes) before starting the route. Ride to the fascinating terraces of Moray, known for Inca agricultural experimentation, with guided explanations of its design and purpose; then return to base and continue by transport to the stunning Maras Salt Mines, a unique landscape of salt ponds still worked using traditional methods. Enjoy sweeping views of Verónica and Chicón peaks and the Andean valleys before returning to Cusco.
Pick-up at 04:30 a.m. and travel northeast through Andean valleys and towns to Mollepata for breakfast. Continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft) to begin the uphill hike of about 2 hours to Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft), famous for its turquoise waters and mountain setting. Enjoy time to explore, take photos, and connect with the peaceful landscape; then hike back down to Soraypampa and return for a buffet lunch, arriving back in Cusco around 6:00 p.m..
At the scheduled time, we provide your transfer to the airport for your departure flight, wrapping up a complete experience across coast, desert, and Andes—memories you’ll carry for a long time.

Yes—most days are comfortable, but the hikes to Vinicunca (5,300 m) and Humantay (4,200 m) make the overall difficulty moderate, mainly due to altitude.
We recommend taking Day 4 easy, staying hydrated, and resting—this helps a lot before high-altitude days like Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake.
The package includes Machu Picchu entry, subject to availability of time slot and circuit at the moment of booking (tickets are limited).
Guiding is bilingual (Spanish & English) depending on group operation; if you need one language prioritized, it can be arranged in advance.
Lima is generally milder and humid, while Cusco and the Sacred Valley have strong day/night temperature changes, and high-altitude areas can be cold and windy. Layers are essential.
