Itinerary
Explore Peru’s capital in a smooth half-day experience that blends modern coastal views with Lima’s deep historical heritage. Start in Miraflores at the scenic Love Park with a privileged oceanfront viewpoint, continue with a panoramic look at Huaca Pucllana, a powerful symbol of pre-Hispanic Lima, and then head into the Historic Center to admire San Martín Square. The grand finale is entry into the San Francisco Monastery and Catacombs, a must-see place to understand the city’s colonial legacy. Ideal for travelers with limited time who want a complete, cultural, and highly photogenic tour.
Between 09:15 - 09:30 a.m. we pick you up from hotels to begin our Lima city tour. We start at Love Park on the Malecón Cisneros in Miraflores, next to the Villena Bridge, featuring the iconic “El Beso” sculpture by Víctor Delfín and colorful mosaic walls inspired by Gaudí’s Park Güell, decorated with phrases and poems in Spanish and Quechua. We then continue with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, an important pre-Inca ceremonial center inhabited for over 300 years and later influenced by the Wari culture. At 10:00 a.m. we enjoy a panoramic stop at San Martín Square, with its monument honoring Peru’s liberator (designed by Mariano Benlliure) and the historic Gran Hotel Bolívar nearby. At 11:00 a.m. we enter the San Francisco Monastery and Catacombs, a major showcase of colonial religious art in the Americas, visiting the choir room, library, sacristy, and underground crypts. Finally, at 14:00 p.m. we return to your hotel in Miraflores.
