Itinerary
Experience Peru’s most iconic wonder in one unforgettable day: Machu Picchu, the Inca citadel famous for its history, architecture, and breathtaking mountain scenery. This full-day tour is designed to maximize your time from Cusco, combining comfortable transfers, a tourist train ride to Aguas Calientes, and the Consettur bus up to the entrance. Inside Machu Picchu, enjoy an approximately 2-hour guided tour through terraces, plazas, temples, and ceremonial spaces while learning about its meaning in the Andean world. After the guided visit, you’ll have free time for photos and independent exploration, then return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (on your own) before traveling back to Cusco in the evening. Ideal for travelers seeking a complete day adventure with spectacular landscapes and once-in-a-lifetime memories.
This full-day tour lets you visit one of the world’s wonders in a single day. We start very early with pick-up in Cusco at 4:00 a. m. and travel to Ollantaytambo, passing Andean scenery in the Sacred Valley. There, we board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying the route through valleys and mountains. From Aguas Calientes we take the Consettur bus up to the Inca citadel. Once at Machu Picchu, we complete an approximately 2-hour guided visit, exploring temples, plazas, terraces, and ceremonial areas while your guide explains the history and significance of this impressive place. Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore and take photos at your own pace. Then you’ll have enough time for lunch in Aguas Calientes (at your own expense) before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Finally, we transfer back to Cusco, arriving at night after an unforgettable day.
