Itinerary
Experience the Sacred Valley in its most complete version with a VIP-style route, also known as the Super Sacred Valley—perfect for travelers who want living culture, Inca archaeology, and unforgettable landscapes in one day. You’ll explore Chinchero and its ancestral weaving traditions, be amazed by Moray and its circular terraces—an authentic Inca agricultural laboratory—and enjoy panoramic views of the Maras Salt Mines, with thousands of salt ponds worked since pre-Inca times. The day includes a gourmet buffet lunch in Urubamba, followed by the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo and a grand finale at Pisac, where Inca architecture and sweeping valley views come together. A full immersion into the heart of Andean heritage and why this region was the great granary of the Tahuantinsuyo and remains Cusco’s cultural core.
We begin our VIP tour of the Sacred Valley, also known as the Super Valley, enjoying a full day filled with history, culture, and breathtaking scenery. Our first stop is Chinchero, where we explore its archaeological complex and visit textile workshops to learn traditional Andean weaving techniques and artisan processes that keep local identity alive. We continue to Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, to admire its circular terraces and understand how the Incas experimented with crops and microclimates to improve production. Next, we head to the Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt ponds create a spectacular landscape worked since pre-Inca times. To recharge, we enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch in Urubamba, in the heart of the valley. In the afternoon, we explore the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, walking through terraces and ceremonial plazas that highlight Inca engineering, and finally visit the Pisac archaeological site to admire its history, architecture, and commanding views over the valley. We end the day returning to Cusco with unforgettable memories of the Sacred Valley’s natural and cultural richness.
